Learn from this district about:

Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathways: By working with industry partners, Covina-Valley students who complete one of our many CTE pathways graduate with the academic, technical, and employability skills needed for postsecondary and workplace success. High School students are able to enroll in over 20 CTE pathways, and upon completion of many of these pathways students are able to earn industry certifications.

National SAT Day/College Focus: Covina-Valley is one of the only districts in Los Angeles County that participates in National SAT Day and provides PSAT 8/9, PSAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and SAT exams to their students free of charge. It is our belief that all students should have access to College Board exams as the ability to not only pay for the test, but the process of registering for the tests, is a barrier to equal access for all students.

Dual Enrollment: Covina-Valley has partnered with Mt. San Antonio College to implement dual enrollment programs at our three high schools. This opportunity allows students to enroll in college-level courses and earn concurrent credit toward a high school diploma and a college degree. The program is free and is an opportunity for students to gain experience in the registration and college enrollment process.
