Kim is the External Project Director for Vista High School’s XQ Super School grant, a collaborative project with Digital Promise. She has spent more than a decade as a public relations strategist in corporate and nonprofit sectors, designing and executing strategy for community engagement, media campaigns and events. Kim is also a writer with a knack for translating complex concepts into clear and compelling copy. She is passionate about connecting communities in support of education innovation and strengthening partnerships, and since 2012 has been a leader in the STEAM movement in K-16 education. Prior to that, Kim managed corporate communications for life science companies in Southern California. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Santa Clara University.
