“I’m taking improv classes right now and it’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had. It’s all about learning how to identify and develop patterns and characters, and how to build upon what’s been handed to you by others.”
Before working at Digital Promise, Melissa worked with the Office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, the New York City Department of Education, Discovery Communications, and the Wilson Center’s Science and Technology Innovation Program. At George Washington University, where she graduated from the honors program with a B.A. in political science, she conducted two years of research on crowdsourcing and public behavior.
