Finalize Project Plan

Overview

After completing the Implementation checklist, finalize your project plan. This includes filling in information about:

• Implementation Plan-Roles and Responsibilities: Includes a roster of staff members’ names, titles, associated program area, and domains of data related to the implementation plan for which they are responsible. 
• Implementation Plan-Project Resources: Summarizes the high-level internal and external resources (e.g., staff, technology) for the proposed implementation strategy.
• Implementation Plan-Project Schedule and Milestones: Clarifies the project’s length and schedule of work. In addition, it includes details on the deployment of the solution.
• Implementation Plan-Project Budget: Provides a detailed budget for the project, including the previously identified project resources.
• Implementation Plan-Dependencies and Risk Management: Summarizes key dependencies and risks for the proposed implementation plan strategy and clearly identifies the mitigation responses.
