Building community and parent engagement is a huge component of a strong school culture. Carroll Middle School’s new principal is truly dedicated to reaching every family in her school. Earlier this school year, teachers at Carroll visited students’ homes and met with their families. This one-on-one interaction helps build trust and understanding in the school community. Incorporating new technology and teaching strategies can be challenging, and it’s critical that parents feel a connection to what’s going on in their child’s classroom.
