The student storyteller team is a key part of the school community. At Kalama Intermediate School in Maui, Hawaii, older students are taking on leadership roles in this group. 8th grade members of the storyteller team spend time with 6th graders and help them learn how to use different tools to create and edit stories. The 8th graders are able to teach the younger students what they’ve learned and share tips for improving their projects.
