How can learning coaches help teachers reflect on the learning in their classrooms? Kayla, a learning coach from Knoxville, Tenn., asked her teachers to share a victory, lesson learned, and need and concern. She broke these down by content area, and found that teachers were getting bogged down by clutter–technical issues, classroom management, the list goes on! By identifying these obstacles and helping teachers filter through them, coaches can help redirect the focus to learning and sharing stories of success.
