These students at Kalama Intermediate School are using the engineering process to design and build the best candy bag. They’re beginning with a first prototype, and then testing it to find areas for improvement. Students are filming their bags to see what contributes to breaks and how they can improve on their designs. This process requires students to reflect on what was successful and what could be improved in future iterations.
