Virtual Reality: Students Travel from Raleigh to Rome!

March 27, 2016 | By

This spring, students at Carroll had the chance to visit places they’re studying in social studies and history–using virtual reality (VR)! Google Expeditions allows students to experience virtual reality and visit places around the world. Students were immediately engaged and fascinated by seeing ancient sites up close through VR.

“I saw things that made me get a new feeling of what I was learning. I actually feel better at knowing social studies because of this.” –Carroll student
