Find out how one social studies class in Burlington, Vermont, is leveraging technology to explore civilizations and city design. Mr. Battaile’s students are designing their own cities, planning maps to scale, and using these plans to see how the city’s design impacts its culture. Students had a wide variety of tools to use, from paper and pencil drawings, to design apps, to Minecraft. Each group was able to customize their project to create something completely unique.
