At WIMA in Ypsilanti, Mich., the design tech teacher wanted to take advantage of the end of cold weather and get his class outside! He partnered with a nonprofit organization that promotes growing healthy food to help the class begin their project. The students designed the garden layout, researched materials, and worked together to create something through the design thinking process.
