El Paso has five schools participating in the VILS program. The district has one storyteller who helps coordinate with a school-based storyteller at each site. For El Paso, it’s important to make sure that all storytellers feel supported. Before school began, the entire storyteller team came together to establish a process and goals for the year. Storytelling will help capture the changes and innovative learning that are taking place, and will allow the district to share its story.
