TakingITGlobal for Educators (TIGed) empowers classrooms to understand and act collaboratively on the world’s greatest challenges. TIGed accomplishes this by supporting educators to utilize technology to create transformative learning experiences for their students. TIGed envisions classrooms everywhere becoming actively engaged and connected in shaping a more inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable world. Their three main focus areas are global citizenship, enviornmental stewardship, and empowering student voice. TIGed offers a wide variety of professional development, free resources and community for teachers, and virtual learning platforms.
