Heifer International’s mission is to work with communities to end world hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth. Part of that mission includes educating the next generation about global issues. On Heifer Ranch, located in Perryville, Arkansas USA, schools can sign up for hands on educational experiences at the ranch. Programs range from touring real-life models of sustainable agricultural projects to experiencing hands-on animal work. This video documents one of Heifer’s unique programs: students spend a night in a replica of a village in a developing country; teams and chaperones face specific challenges to simulate issues in developing countries.
