The opportunity to collaborate with another student from a completely different part of the country was super exciting for Tori, a 7th grade student from Vista, California. She was able to connect with a student from Illinois using technology to work on exciting and different projects. Working together on a project is great on its own, but the connections and friendships formed while learning new skills can last a lifetime.
Josie and Tori connected and worked together throughout the school year on lots of exciting projects. Using technology, they were able to meet virtually using Google Hangouts. Being able to meet face-to-face helps these students establish a strong connection and get to know each other from miles apart.
