She holds her Bachelor’s of Arts in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations from Southern University and A&M College, her M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction: Technology Integration from Louisiana State University at Shreveport, and her M.Ed in Secondary Education for English Language Arts from the University of Phoenix.
She advocates for innovative and accessible uses of technology in the ELA classroom for all students and is a firm believer that everyone can learn, but everyone does not learn the same way. She believes that every learner is an individual and must be treated, and educated, as such, because there is something special that happens in classrooms when the students trust that you will help them to learn on a level that is beneficial to them.
