Cindy Snyder is a self-contained special education teacher at Lone Star Middle School in Nampa, Idaho. She serves students in grades 6-8 and provides services in social skills, life skills, reading, writing, and math. Cindy focuses on cultivating independence in her students through student-led IEP meetings and overseeing her classroom’s student-led coffee/bake shop. She is a M.S. Ed candidate through Johns Hopkins University, where she is focusing on expanding her knowledge of equity in special education. Cindy has a passion for learning about educational technology that promotes independence in and out of the classroom for her special education students.
