About the Collaborative Innovation Studio

Using the power and processes of co-research and co-design, we’ve created a framework, processes, and effective tools to make it possible for schools and learning organizations to reimagine education. That means tackling challenges that matter. It means using collaborative, community-centered techniques. It means creating solutions with and not just “for” students. And it means making sure those solutions reflect and relate to students’ changing world.

Most importantly, it means students whose needs have simply not been met now have an authentic seat at the research and design table. Why? Because as educators and community contributors, we simply must serve the whole child with programs and approaches that work.

By offering a comprehensive suite of learning opportunities, our goal is to cultivate a vibrant national ecosystem of schools, communities, and organizations committed to driving transformational change.
