Katherine Korte of Pattonville High School in Maryland Heights, MO received a full scholarship to attend the 2013 iEARN Conference in Doha, Qatar. She wrote, “While in Doha, I attended a three-day workshop with other Chris Stevens Youth Network teachers and the five-day iEARN conference. The experience was absolutely transformative. The project-based learning workshop challenged me to imagine a more creative classroom, with authentic assessments that developed 21st century skills. The conference had educators and youth from 55 other countries. To be surrounded by global educators united with the common purpose to improve education and instill the world back into world-class education was inspiring.”
