Sprout is a series of offerings that support young people in becoming inspired social innovators. Through self-guided and facilitated online courses, camps, events, and educator training, Sprout works to grow a culture of social innovation in schools and communities across the globe. This particular video showcases Sprout Ideas Camp 2014. The goal of the camp is to provide students with an immersive experience to build their social innovation, technology, and design skills. Industry mentors are engaged to support students in idea development and prototyping. Each event culminates with presentations and feedback from an expert panel, and a showcase to parents and community members. Sprout is a initiative of TakingITGlobal (TIG).
