Walter Payton College Prep is one of the top magnet high schools in Illinois USA. The four-year high school’s program is deeply committed to nurturing a global dimension throughout the curriculum. All students are required to learn about a foreign culture and foreign language for four years. Video conferencing with professionals and students from around the world is common in classrooms. Many students are involved in the award winning model U.N. program. Walter Payton also is the only high school in America to host a Confucius Institute which provides resources for students to learn about Chinese culture.
