Through its award-winning global education program, the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh annually organizes and hosts more than 100 events focused on key contemporary global topics so as to prepare students for a 21st century global environment. These events reach a combined total of more than 10,000 students and teachers in 250 area schools. Through the use of video conferencing technology, local students have the opportunity to not only collaborate with each other, but with their peers around the world as well.
