CloudReady OS turns Windows and Mac OS laptops and desktops up to 13 years old into Chromebooks. Based on open-source Chromium and backed by Google, it speeds aging computers and allows IT to manage them in Google’s Admin Console just like regular Chromebooks. It can be assigned by a teacher and used independently by a student. Students can use the tool independently. Students must have internet access – low bandwidth (e.g. for email, web searching, word processing). The product has other requirements not listed.
