The Genius Squad, Mater Academy’s student tech team, is led by Verizon Innovative Learning Schools Coach Mariella Vasconcelos. Being on this team empowers students to support both teachers and peers by enhancing digital learning in the classroom. They assist educators in using technology effectively and help fellow students navigate their school devices and digital applications. Through hands-on experience, Genius Squad members develop valuable IT skills, troubleshoot technical issues, and gain real-world problem-solving experience.
