Zélia Capitão-Tavares is a hybrid teacher-digital lead learner a role that embraces exploration classrooms highlighting the global competencies while leveraging technology. She is also an elementary grade 4 and 5 teacher at McMurrich Junior Public School. She has a master’s in education, is a Microsoft Innovative Education Expert and Fellow, an HP Teaching Fellow, Google Certified Innovator, Future Design School Certified Innovator, and a board member at MindShare Learning Technology. She believes in creating learning experiences in which students develop agency and share their voice; to find the spark in each student and step aside to let them shine!
