Students at Armstrong Middle School demonstrate how a single project can fit into each piece of the SAMR model. A science class is doing a project on the periodic table, which traditional took the form of a paper tri-fold pamphlet. The kids create a slideshow presentation to demonstrate substitution, and model redefinition by creating an animation project. Using technology to complete a project allows for more interaction and a variety of ways to demonstrate learning beyond the traditional paper pamphlet.
