Building a strong community within a school is critical to creating a supportive environment for trying new things. Taking on a digital transformation is a big commitment, and requires trust throughout the school. With VILS schools across the country, we have a great opportunity to build a community across these sites. Educators from Vista, Ca. recently travelled to Maui to help build these connections between the groups and focus on building a strong digital ‘ohana–the Hawaiian word for family.
