Chief Sealth International High School in Seattle, Washington
360 Filmmakers Challenge Honorable Mention for Excellent Use of Voiceover – Spring 2017
From the filmmakers: “In our American government class we made a 360° video about how Chief Sealth International High School is a diverse school and how we have several multicultural evening programs and assemblies. What motivated our class to do this kind of video is that in our American Government we talk a lot about what it means to be a US citizens and we also wanted to think about what means to a global citizen. It will impact us because we want to recognize the GLOBAL part of who we are and we want to expand the definition of community. Our community is special to us because going to school with students from so many different cultures gives us a chance to learn new things every day and as global citizens it helps us connect with the world, not just with where we live. We want people to know how special Chief Sealth really is.”

There are several ways to experience 360° video, including through a VR headset, a VR viewer connected to a mobile device, a mobile device on its own, or through a web-based video player, as demonstrated above.
