The Learning Studio has supported an excitement about thinking that is palpable in my 2nd grade classroom at Keet Gooshi Heen Elementary School in Sitka, Alaska. Our Alaska Commissioner of Education, Dr. Michael Johnson, visited our classroom recently and was able to hear from students about the thinking that went into their design of alternative access devices.
Students and families are so excited about the learning that is happening in our Learning Studio classroom that all 2nd grade students and teachers participated so we can spread the power of learning through creating and thinking.
