Sixth Grade Circuit Makers – Digital Promise

Sixth Grade Circuit Makers

Chandler Elementary Learning Studio

November 22, 2016 | By

Using the Makey Makey Invention Kits, Learning Studio makers at Conley Elementary in Chandler, AZ are creating circuits with graphite, foil, staples, metal toy cars and even their own hands by giving each other high-fives. By connecting the circuits to their laptops, the sixth graders can interact with computer programs. Some students have used fruit conductors as instruments to play the “bongo drums,” while others have attached the conductive materials in their circuits to a print-out of a piano keyboard.
