Seth Brady has been a social studies teacher at Naperville Central High School since 2004. His course load typically includes comparative religions, world cultures, peace and conflict studies, and capstone. In 2013, Seth was named a Teacher’s for Global Classrooms Fellow by the U.S. Department of State, and studied religion and culture in Indonesia. This fellowship later led to the creation of Illinois Global Scholar (IGS), a statewide global education certificate for high school students that is administered by educators. As a project director at IGS, Seth oversees annual “Power of Perspective” student summits and Illinois Waterway Cleanup Week. Seth is also passionate about equity, inclusion, and religious literacy. In addition to serving as a writer for the C3 Framework on Religious Studies, Seth runs an annual Religious Literacy Bus Tour as part of a 2019 Teach to Lead Grant. Seth is married with three children in their late teens and enjoys hanging out with them.
