Students at the Fletcher Elementary
Learning Studio in Vermont designed, performed, and hosted a “Haunted Hallway” at their school. Using the Makey Makey kit, the students designed interactive features for community members to enjoy. The theme of the Haunted Hallway was “Peter Pan.” Sixth and seventh grade students wrote and performed all the skits, which included “A Witch’s Garden,” where spooky sounds from Scratch play when the students touch the witch’s broom, and “Hook’s Hand,” where Hook’s severed hand floats in the water. Participants could touch Hook’s hand or the water to trigger sounds of Hook screaming.
