Parts, Purposes and Complexities – Digital Promise

Parts, Purposes and Complexities

October 25, 2016 | By

Learning Studio makers at South Fayette Middle School in McDonald, Pennsylvania are exploring the parts and purposes of everyday items by deconstructing various items and thinking critically about how the pieces work and fit together. Once they’re done with the disassembling process, they’re using their HP Sprouts to take pictures as well as the SizeUp app to take measurements of the pieces.  They’re also creating virtual and physical poster boards to label the pieces and explain how they fit together so others can also understand the complexities of these everyday items!
