The game, called “The Struggles Are Real,” is played in the style of the Game of Life. The player chooses an emoji game piece (which were 3D printed by the students) to move around the board. The player rolls the dice to determine how many spaces to move on the board. Each space corresponds with a scenario card; once the player lands on a space, they pick the corresponding card that presents a scenario encountered by teenagers. Players can gain or lose popularity points and mental health points, which are converted to money at the end of the game. The player with the most cash at the end of the game wins!
