2026 iCoachTEAM Summer Institute

The institute will take place June 2-4, 2026.

• Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3: 9 a.m.–4:15 p.m.
• Thursday, June 4: 9 a.m.–3:15 p.m.

A 75-minute break for lunch will be provided each day.

The iCoachTEAM resources were originally designed for instructional coaches who work with teachers to promote high-quality math instruction. However, we have expanded our content so that the resources are valuable for teachers and administrators as well. Examples of people who would benefit from attending the Summer Institute include:

• Instructional coaches who work with math teachers
• Teacher leaders or others who support instructional improvement in math, such as those who lead math departments or Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
• Administrators who support teachers who teach math and/or math coaching programs
• Math teachers who are interested in implementing high-quality math instruction

NOTE: The 2026 iCoachTEAM Summer Institute is open to participants who have NOT previously attended an institute with us. If you are a past participant, we ask that you please share this opportunity with interested colleagues.

All meals for the duration of the institute are on your own and will be reimbursed based on government per diem rates. (Any meal expenses incurred beyond the per diem rates will not be reimbursed.) There are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel in downtown Oak Park. Detailed instructions for receiving meal reimbursements will be provided to those who attend.

A hotel stay for up to 4 nights at the institute is covered. After we have received all registration requirements, we will reserve and pay for an individual hotel room for each person at The Carleton of Oak Park Hotel. Recommended check-in is Monday, June 1 and check-out can be either Thursday, June 4 (with a flight departure after 6:30 p.m.) or Friday, June 5. We will use the name provided on your registration form to book your hotel room. You will receive a confirmation email once your room has been confirmed.

Flights and transportation to the institute/hotel location are NOT covered and must be paid by you or your district. Discuss travel policies and associated expenses with a district leader BEFORE booking travel and registering.

You can get to the Carleton in Oak Park from both Chicago airports which are approximately 30 minutes from the institute location.

• Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)

NOTE: Plan your flights to arrive on Monday, June 1 and depart on Friday, June 5 to ensure attendance for the entire duration of the institute. If you choose to depart on Thursday, June 4, do not book a flight earlier than a 6:30 p.m. departure time.

Rideshare apps or taxis from the airports to the hotel cost approximately $35–50 one way and are not covered. Any transportation costs related to your own personal sightseeing are also NOT covered.

For participants who are allowed to accept a participation stipend, a stipend of $60 per hour for a total of $1,020 (six hours each on June 2 and 3, and five hours on June 4 for a total of 17 hours) will be provided.

To receive the stipend, participants must attend the entire duration of the institute. The stipend will be disbursed within 30-60 days of the conclusion of the summer institute. Instructions for how to receive the stipend will be provided.
