Chris Lazarski, a High School Social Studies/English-Journalism Teacher in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, led his high school journalism class to participate in iEARN’s Photojournalism 2.014: Heritage, Hunger and Food Security program. Mr. Lazarski organized a full field-trip day to a small pasture animal family farm, an agricultural institute, and a farmers’ market for his students to learn about where food comes from. Students were charged with collecting information and data from each of the stops along the way, producing a photo story, and sharing it with their peers in Pakistan, Tajikistan and the United States on iEARN’s online platform.
