NSF CSforAll Researcher-Practitioner Partnership (RPP) Workshop

Teams that intend to write a proposal for the NSF CSforAll RPP solicitation are encouraged to apply to and attend a workshop before writing their proposal. Costs will be covered for accepted participants.

Selection Criteria. Teams that meet the requirements below will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Both established and new research-practice partnerships are invited to apply.

• Be eligible to write a proposal to the NSF CSforAll RPP solicitation
• Have an initial plan to meet the goals of the NSF CSforAll RPP solicitation
• Demonstrate a commitment to equity in CSforAll
• Have a team that includes both researchers and practitioners (applicants must list at least one researcher and one practitioner)

Up to four members from a team may attend a workshop together and coming as a team is encouraged.

Day 1

8 a.m. Registration and breakfast (provided)

9 a.m. to 12 p.m. RPP Training Block 1

12 p.m. Lunch (provided)

1 to 5 p.m. RPP Training Block 2

5 p.m. Dinner on your own

Day 2

8 a.m. Breakfast (provided)

9 a.m. to 12 p.m. RPP Training Block 3

12 p.m. Lunch (provided) and adjourn

Workshop Location

The workshop will be held at Digital Promise in San Mateo, CA.

Lodging and Travel

• Lodging will be provided for accepted attendees for up to two nights and will be near San Francisco airport (SFO).
• Shuttles to/from the SFO airport and between the hotel and the conference site will be available without cost.
• Travel expenses between your home location and the meeting location will be reimbursed up to a reasonable limit and could be in any type of transportation that is safe and convenient for the attendee.
• Meals will be provided and/or covered, subject to limits to be later described.
