Prioritizing blended learning: The Innovative Methods for Personalized Academics, Complemented by Technology (IMPACT) project enables Iredell-Statesville Schools (ISS) to implement an innovative blended learning initiative for traditional middle and high schools, utilizing high-quality effective educators, digital content, and a digital portal to provide a customized and personalized learning experience for all students, every day.
Providing opportunities for early college dual immersion: A unique collaboration between ISS, the Mooresville Graded School District, and Mitchell Community College, the Collaborative College for Technology & Leadership (CCTL) is a five-year program that provides high school students the opportunity to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an Associate degree.
Leveraging data to personalize instruction: ISS uses Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), thanks to a Race to the Top Grant, to personalize instruction and tailor assessment for appropriate intervention strategies.
