K-12 Students with Access to a Personal School-provided Device (1:1)
Providing a personal learning device to students: Mentor Public Schools students in grades K-12 are given their own devices, which enables teachers to provide extremely individualized and targeted instruction through small groups, while other groups of students are engaged in meaningful digital curriculum.
Launching a distance learning program: As part of a partnership with Kirtland Local Schools, Mentor High School (MHS) students have increased classroom choices, including a blended learning track, an increased offering of fully online courses, and distance learning opportunities.
Supplementing STEM instruction in schools: The district is engaged with Project Lead the Way, a program that provides a world-class curriculum and high-quality teacher professional development model to support student learning in STEM.
