Culturally relevant resources (reconstruction): The district supports culturally relevant resources in classrooms to expose students to rich and diverse academic and cultural experiences.

Technology-forward education: The district has implemented coding instruction for all elementary students and provides multiple college and career options at the high school level through AP Courses, career certification through the Mississippi Coding Academy, and dual enrollment.

Clear college, career and enlistment pathways: The district is committed to providing students with more career and enlistment options through exposure and assessment entry support for the Air Force through a partnership with the Columbus Air Force Base. They are also working on a redevelopment which will house a 6th-grade blended learning academy and high-skill workforce development courses.
