Providing opportunities for college and career readiness for students: In addition to cultivating a college-going climate throughout Duplin County Schools, the District-Wide Early College (DWEC) model provides high school students the opportunity to earn cost-free credentials and postsecondary credits, certificates, and diplomas.

Expanding and enhancing STEM education: STEM is integrated in daily classroom instruction across the curriculum for elementary, middle, and high school students.
