“Science by the Shore” curriculum: Every grade level in Gulf Shores has aligned our state science standards to real-world projects and activities that are related to the local environment. Through partnerships with local organizations and universities, our students learn about our local ecology. Our community will continue to be the heartbeat of our school system.

Provides a flexible learning environment: Gulf Shores believes that in order to fully implement personalized learning, the learning environment must be flexible. A commitment to flexible scheduling and instructional practices has allowed us to develop and implement many programs that advance equity, access, and excellence. We implemented a blended learning program that allowed interested students to participate in both virtual and traditional classes.
