Learn from this district about:

Civic Readiness: We provide a variety of academic, extracurricular and civic opportunities to help students develop the essential skills they need to lead successful futures. We strive to support our students as they develop the skills needed for success as college students, working professionals and responsible, contributing citizens.

Robust after school program: The Hudson Bluehawk Nation Afterschool Program (HBN ASP) provides after school services for all Hudson students. In 2013, ASP was very proud to be one of 125 districts in New York State to be funded by the 21st Century Grant (out of more than 450 applicants). The program started in a classroom with six employees and has since expanded to all HCSD schools with more than 70 employees.

Partnership with our community college: An all-student matters initiative where our entire junior class is accepted to college without the traditional application process that creates a barrier.
Partnerships with over a dozen non-profit community organizations- Our district partnerships with community organizations allow us to offer workforce development, robust programming, mental health services, and an Annual multicultural festival.
