Fostering digital early literacy: Pre-K students in Napa County are using devices that read stories to them in English and Spanish so that they develop the pre-literacy skills they need for kindergarten, available at no cost to every family with a preschool child in Napa County.

Facilitating project-based learning: At the high school level in every subject, students work in teams to research and develop projects that they then present to an audience of adults.

Developing career pathways for students: The county provides Naviance to students across the district, a tool that helps students assess their interests, skills, colleges, and financial aid.
