Latinos in Action: Latinos In Action offers an asset-based approach to bridging the graduation and opportunity gap for our Latino students, working from within our system to create positive change. Through culturally responsive social and emotional learning, college and career readiness, and interpersonal development, Latinos in Action empowers Latino and other youth who desire to expand their academic performance, leadership skills, and service opportunities.
Minority Achievement Office (MAO) was designed to support the fulfillment of the Orange County Public Schools vision and mission: to ensure every student has a promising and successful future, and with the support of families and the community, to create enriching and diverse pathways to lead our students to success. Building upon research-based strategies and processes, and partnerships with universities, municipalities and faith-based organizations, the MAO maintains a laser-like focus on equity and access for all students.
