Leveraging technological support to bolster stability for migrant students: A growing population of Socorro students comes from migrant families. The district provides additional support to migrant families—access to iPads and educational games—that personalize learning and help students close learning gaps incurred by mobility.

Highlighting student creativity through a technology showcase: Students transition from being consumers of learning to creators of learning at the Socorro ISD Technology Showcase. Students demonstrate creative technological skills in broadcasting, coding, digital publishing, digital storytelling, animation, and graphic design.

Supporting students with access to personalized learning resources 24/7: The WIN Academy initiative helps students who struggle in traditional school settings by providing 1:1 mobile devices, digital reading and math curriculum, project-based learning, and extended instructional hours.
