The Intense Student Support Network (ISSN) provides tools for staff to effectively nurture and support students whose non-academic needs may create
obstacles to high achievement.

TCAPS’ Indigenous Program meets the unique needs of our local Native American students. The goal of the program is to improve student proficiency and graduation rates. The program provides assistance to students early on and throughout their learning journey at TCAPS. This program is in partnership with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.

TCAPS is proud to offer a robust Early College Program to provide high school students (especially at-risk and low socio-economic students) with an increased opportunity to complete transferable college credits while still in high school. Different than dual enrollment, Early College provides students with a defined pathway towards both high school graduation and earning up to two years of college credit or an associate degree at Northwestern Michigan College.
