Uinta County School District #1

Prioritizing blended learning: Uinta County School District #1 (UCSD #1) launched a blended learning initiative in spring 2014 using a teacher opt-in model, where educators will be trained on four core elements of blended learning over four years with the goal of improving growth and self-determination in all students.

Developing a pre-engineering academy: UCSD #1 provides students with the opportunity to pursue engineering-specific opportunities, allowing early exploration of STEM career paths.

Providing more access to learning outside the school day: As of the fall of 2016, every student throughout the district in grades 4-12 has a Chromebook, with the goal of closing the gaps in student learning that time and space previously created.
