Building a culture of personalized learning: Vista students and teachers aim to increase understanding of what personal learning is and how the district intends to shift to a more personalized instructional environment over the next few years through a community engagement effort called the Personal Learning Road Show.

Providing access to educational and informed career opportunities: The CTE Program prepares all students for college and career readiness with courses that provide students with access to career pathways, student internships, career exploration activities, leadership skills, and college planning tools.

Fostering a college- and career-ready mindset: The district is committed to preparing all students to be college- and career-ready when they graduate through collaborations within the district called WAVEpact.
