Building an effective teacher framework: The Effective Teaching Framework (ETF) is a WCPSS initiative established to provide educators with resources and tools to be effective in the classroom with the goal of increasing student learning. It will provide a common vocabulary and common areas of performance that effective teachers in the WCPSS will demonstrate.

Creating opportunities for teacher leadership: Teacher Leader Corps is a continuous improvement model that puts teachers and teaching at the forefront of the district wide digital transformation.  The goal of this model is to help to build the professional capital of teachers across the district while creating learning environments that engage students.

Scaling a BYOD program: Wake County uses Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in many of its schools, and has developed a thoughtful implementation program.
